Unable to vote in Google Chrome
Reported by Faux | March 6th, 2009 @ 07:31 AM | in v3.0.0
I am unable to vote using Google Chrome. This may affect other Webkit browsers but I am unable to test them.
Steps:
-
Go to election /view page
http://www.heliosvoting.org/elec...
-
Click on "Vote in this election"
-
Screen displays messages
- "Loading Election Booth..."
- "Processing..." but does not continue to the ballot "Welcome screen"
I have attached a screenshot of what I see when trying to vote.
EDIT:
The javascript console from Chrome has this error message:
Uncaught TypeError: Object #<an HTMLAppletElement> has no method 'newBigInteger' http://www.heliosvoting.org/stat... (line 21)

thanks for this report, it looks like Google Chrome doesn't support JavaScript to Java connectivity (LiveConnect), or if it does, it's a bit different than IE7 and Safari. I'll take a look
